Softening & Approaching Pain
Floating & Exploring Pain
Tape 1: These meditations open us to the healing available through gently softening to the sensations known as pain. The listener is asked to use this process slowly, using the Softening Pain meditation first, building focus and awareness. The Approaching Pain meditation requires more concentration, and is meant to be used after Softening Pain.
Tape 2: These advanced pain meditations further open us to the healing available through gently exploring and sending loving awareness to pain sensations in the body.
The listener is asked to work with Floating Pain first, building focus and awareness, before going on to Exploring Pain. These meditations are not meant, in any way, to take the place of appropriate medical or psychological care.
